The Project
This project turned a traditional building into a 6-unit boutique stay tailored specifically for business travelers and travel nurses. Because we were working with limited square footage, strategic spatial planning was critical. We meticulously mapped out every unit to fit a sleeping area, a living space, a workspace, and a functional kitchenette without making the rooms feel cramped. By maximizing the flow, we ensured these studios would function effortlessly for guests staying anywhere from a few weeks to a full year.
The Vibe: Urban Modern
We designed these studios to feel sleek and clean, mirroring the high-end appeal of a modern boutique hotel. However, because these are meant for longer stays, it was crucial that the spaces didn't feel cold. By balancing clean lines and highly efficient furniture with warm, inviting textures and homey details, we gave each unit a comfortable, welcoming feel.
